"Standard pipe" refers to straight sections of CPP which are manufactured in nominal lengths of 7.315m (24ft), 6.096m(20ft), or 4.877m(16ft) depending on the diameter and type of pipe (LCP or ECP).

Both LCP & ECP pipes consist of a steel cylinder, steel joint rings, a concrete core, high tensile steel wire, and a cement mortar coating.
