Elbows are used where the deflection required is not obtainable by pipe joint deflection, bevel pipe, or a combination of both. Elbows are available in all diameters manufactured by Hyprescon and any degree of deflection between 5 and 90 degrees, in increments of 1 degree. Joint deflection and/or bevel pipe may be used in conjunction with the elbows to adjust to the specified angle.

For identification and ease of installation, Hyprescon marks all elbow spigots showing the top mark, as well as the long and short side. The top mark location is dependent on whether the elbow is a vertical, horizontal, or a combination bend (simultaneous horizontal and vertical deflection). Other special elbows, such as short radius elbows and/or elbows greater then 90 degrees, are available upon request.
