Tapping concrete pressure pipe under operating pressure is common practice in today's municipal projects. Hyprescon supplies a full range of taps, including strapless and strap types for small services, as well as saddle types for large branches up to 1200mm (48in.) in diameter. In addition to supplying the materials for tapping all types of concrete pressure pipe, Hyprescon can provide the technical expertise and installation services required to complete a tap on any type of pressure pipe, without interrupting service to customers.

The type of tapping assembly utilized is dependant on the diameter of the tap required (refer to the table below). Services up to 50mm (2in.) are available in either Mueller or Iron Pipe threads.
